Welcome to SWIM, the South-West German Infectious Disease Modelling Workshop.
SWIM is a series of workshops on infectious disease modelling, epidemiology and biostatistics. It is community-driven and open to researchers at all career stages. While our primary goal is to organize regional events in the South-West of Germany, these are also open to participants based elsewhere.
Currently we are running two types of events. The annual workshops (usually in December) cover all aspects of infections disease modelling, both theoretical and applied. Topic meetings are smaller and focused on specific methods, modelling tasks or applied questions.
